DESIGNING IS OUR GAME
The compact bucket wheel excavator K1100 is designed for the specific conditions of the potash mine. Material (overburden/sand) is excavated by means of wheel buckets and the wheel is driven by an electromechanical drive. Material being withdrawn from the wheel is transported on a conveyor belt via a bucket wheel boom to a loading boom, from where material continues to the follow-up belt conveyance of the mine.
The whole machine is mounted on a crawler undercarriage that is capable of turning by 360°, it is driven by electromechanical drives. The lifting system for the bucket wheel boom is hydraulically driven as that for the loading boom. The bucket wheel excavator K1100 has the central lubrication system.
