The belt conveyors PD 502, PD 504, PD 506, and PD 511 at the final positions are part of the new complete line of the belt conveyance TC2 for the KK 1300 bucket wheel excavator.
Repair and modernization of the driving stations in the range of revision of all the drums, drive units, tensioning system, reconstruction of the dust belt, revision of the shield hydraulic system, and repair of steel structures were performed. Drives were added to the driving stations up to three to four drives. Leading parts and reversing stations of all the conveyors were reconstructed. The central parts of conveyors PD 502 and PD 506 were supplied completely new in design as 1,800 mm wide non-sequenced, festoon central parts. The central parts of conveyors PD 504 and PD 511 were fitted with new festoons. The central part of the conveyor PD 511 was adapted for passage through the existing conveyor bridge. The driving station of the conveyor PD 511 was equipped with a laser scanner for measurement of quantity conveyed.
